I think many people go with the attitude that they will be spending money and they don't care if they buy the snacks at the park. To me, it's the same as when people buy vehicles. They always lose money when their mind gets in that spending mode of, well, I'm going to be spending a lot of money anyway, what's a few more dollars. Sure, add that to my bill.
